What subjects are included on the GED?

GED Preperation

The GED (General Educational Development) is a nationally recognized high school equivalency credential. Passing the GED demonstrates knowledge and skills comparable to those of a high school graduate.

No. The Learning Village Hub provides GED preparation and academic support. Students must take and pass the official GED exams through authorized testing providers to earn their GED credential.

The GED consists of four subject areas:


  • Mathematical Reasoning
  • Reasoning Through Language Arts
  • Science
  • Social Studies

Every student's journey is different. Preparation time depends on current skill level, study habits, and educational goals. During your consultation, we can discuss a plan that fits your needs.

No. Students can take the GED subject tests individually and at different times based on their readiness.
